Since having graduated from the University of Liverpool with a 2:1 Masters in Astrophysics, Elly has been handling a mix of technical fields including software, GUIs, electronics, quantum technologies, and AI, joining the profession in 2017, completing a PGCert in Intellectual Property in 2018, and qualifying in Europe in 2022.
Elly has in-depth experience in prosecuting patents from filing to final product, including opposition and appeal stages, as well as patent drafting, freedom-to-operate searches, and providing advice on patent strategies, working with a range of clients, from large multinational companies to SMEs.
