It’s been a busy week in the Team Scintilla calendar!
Last week saw us attending two of the most important events in our collective calendar, supporting organisations integral to the local technology ecosystem and indeed, Scotland as a whole.
Team Scintilla exhibited for the 2nd time at the annual CENSIS techsummit2024 at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. We showed off our brand new stand and our Director, IP Strategy, Suzanne Oliver, spoke on a panel about business resilience. It was wonderful to see so many companies from across the whole of Scotland both attending with exhibits and as guests. Hats off to the whole CENSIS team, in particular Sian Williams, who masterminded the whole event yet again. Truly a feat to be proud of.
However, the festivities did not end there as it was back to the office for a quick break, before our Founder Pete and Marketing Specialist Gemma joined Senior Patent Attorney Gerard, as well as our table of esteemed guests at the Technology Scotland Annual Dinner! CEO Alastair McInroy entered with suitably suave energy to Bruce Springsteen on the speakers.
The first speaker of the evening, following Alastair’s opening remarks was MSP Richard Lochhead in great form. He has long been a passionate advocate for the critical technology industries, now part of an exciting new supercluster.
A massive thank you to all of our guests for their excellent company, we are extremely lucky to be supported by such a variety of innovative, industry disrupters and we are grateful to each of you.
Three cheers also to Alastair, Alison & Amy, the terrific trio responsible for the gargantuan undertakings of Technology Scotland and the immense work they do in pushing Scotland’s vast technological potential forward, both nationally and indeed on a global scale. Scintilla are proud to continue our longstanding support of the team and all that they do – thank you Technology Scotland!
The year is not yet over and there is plenty to be excited about – the adventures continue as soon as this week. Watch this space…
